Anyone who works with or near hazardous products in Canada needs WHMIS training. This includes employees in warehouses, construction, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, cleaning, and even some office roles—basically, anyone who may be exposed to hazardous materials as part of their job.
Employers are legally required to provide both general WHMIS education and workplace-specific training.
