Who This Training Program Is For
This training program is intended for non-electrical workers who use, operate, or work near electrical equipment and energy sources, including:
- General industry workers who operate or plug in electrical equipment as part of their duties.
- Maintenance workers, custodians, and facility staff whose work brings them near electrical equipment and panels.
- Construction workers and trades working near energized equipment or overhead power lines.
- Warehouse, distribution, and operations personnel working around powered equipment and charging stations.
- Employers establishing or strengthening electrical safety awareness within their safety program.
- Government agency and public works department workers exposed to electrical hazards on the job.

The arc flash safety in the workplace online certification training is kept up-to-date and is aligned with the newest CSA and applicable Federal/Provincial standards.
