Lift Truck Instructor Online Training Program

Our online lift truck trainer and evaluator course has been designed in alignment with the CSA B335 Safety Standard for Lift Trucks and was developed to streamline your learning experience and help you to rapidly improve your instructor skills.

Practical Evaluations

This online course can help qualified workers become competent practical evaluators, and it is often used in a blended learning strategy. For example, employers will train their operators with our lift truck operator online certification and then qualify one or more internal practical evaluators using this course. This way, the practical evaluations can more effectively be completed at the worksite.

Training Materials

This is an online training program that will award you or your internal trainers with a train-the-trainer certificate upon successful completion. It does not include materials to use when training your workers. We do have a package that includes this course along with all the training materials needed to conduct complete training sessions at your workplace.

The Canadian Standards Association (CSA) has a standard that outlines many guidelines and recommendations relating to forklifts. Among these are very specific requirements relating to forklift operator training.

Our Forklift Operator Certification Training has been carefully designed to meet the general training requirements outlined in the CSA B335 standard.

Practical Training Component

It’s important to note that in order to completely satisfy the requirements of the standard, workplace and equipment-specific training must be completed by the employer, along with a practical evaluation. These workplace training components cannot be completed by any offsite third-party provider, whether they offer online or live training. The reason for this is that each workplace is different and poses unique hazards.

An employer can be best suited to train workers on these unique circumstances that exist within their workplace and their specific equipment.
